Terms of Engagement

These Terms of Engagement (the "Terms") describe how Heidi Hetzel ("Heidi", "we", "us") provides non-medical in-home support services ("Services") to clients ("you"). By submitting the Hire form or scheduling a visit, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service area

Services are offered only to households located along the coastal corridor of north Broward County, Florida — Hillsboro Beach, Lighthouse Point, the eastern (oceanfront / Intracoastal) portions of Pompano Beach, and the eastern portions of Deerfield Beach — or within ZIP codes 33062, 33064, or 33441. Requests outside this area cannot be accepted.

2. Scope of services

Heidi provides non-medical assistance, including but not limited to: meal preparation, light housekeeping, bathing and personal-care assistance, grocery shopping, errands, and companionship. Heidi does not provide skilled nursing, medication administration, or any service that requires a clinical license.

3. Scheduling and cancellations

Visits are scheduled in advance through the booking link. Please give at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or changes. Late cancellations may be billed at the agreed hourly rate.

4. Fees and payment

Hourly rates and any minimum-visit length will be confirmed in writing before care begins. Invoices are issued after each visit (or weekly, by agreement) and are due on receipt.

5. Safety and household environment

You agree to provide a safe working environment, disclose any known hazards, and ensure that firearms, controlled substances, and valuables are appropriately secured. Heidi reserves the right to decline or end a visit if conditions are unsafe.

6. Confidentiality

Heidi will treat all information about you and your household as confidential and will not share it except where required by law or to protect the safety of you or others.

7. Termination

Either party may end the engagement at any time by giving reasonable notice. Outstanding invoices remain due.

8. Limitations

The Services are provided on a best-efforts basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heidi's total liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the fees paid for the visit giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
